Service levels on Polish Trade route

Service levels on the MacAndrews Polish Trade have improved considerably following decision taken to limit port UK port calls to Hull only from Gdynia. A transit time of around 60 hours has proved very popular with the customer base, resulting in a viable and cost efficient alternative to trucks. The container operation allows customers to call forward units for delivery within the UK as and when required, thus completely obviating the problems associated with through truck deliveries, i.e. truck demurrage and waiting time at final delivery point.
