MacAndrews are pleased to announce that we will be reinstating a direct call into Tilbury on our current service between Poland (Gdynia) and UK.
WEF from week 42 we will operate one ship into Hull and one ship into Tilbury. First sailing for Tilbury will be “Dette G” voy 180W ETS Gdynia 18th Oct ETA Tilbury 21st Oct. The “Dette G” will then continue to call at Tilbury only. Current sailing dates of Tuesday ex Gdynia with arrival UK (Tilbury) Friday will be maintained. “Maris” will continue to call at Hull only, leaving Gdynia on Friday and arriving Hull the following Monday.
This decision has been taken following customer demand and will allow us to offer a port to port transit times of approximately 60 hours to SCUK and Hull as well as maintaining the strategically important two sailings per week from Poland to the UK. The Tilbury call should prove very competitive when compared to overland trucks and allow MacAndrews to build upon it’s reputation for quality service coupled with environmental priorities, the latter with a view to switching more traffic from road to sea.
This latest development will allow us to grow the Tilbury gateway and build our volumes from Poland to SCUK as well as develop a common hub linking Poland with our Iberian Services to both Spain and Portugal.
