MacAndrews received on 26 February the “European Carrier of the Year 2010” award at a ceremony organised by ASDA, a subsidiary of the American retail giant Walmart and the second biggest retailer in the United Kingdom. MacAndrews has been working with ASDA since the end of 2007 for their wine imports from Portugal and Spain to Great Britain.
Recognised in the industry as a benchmark of excellence, the award relates to consistently high levels of service based on:

- On time collections .
- Cargo delivered to ASDA DC’s to meet their delivery requirements.
- Ability to meet ASDA’s overall service level of 97% or higher.
