MacAndrews upgrades Poland - UK Service to include additional call at Tilbury
Following the success of their two ship operation into Hull, MacAndrews are pleased to announce that they will be introducing a THIRD vessel on their dedicated Poland / UK service commencing in Gdynia on 19th March 2011. This additional sailing will trade directly between Gdynia and Tilbury and is being deployed to cover the Polish market into southern UK destinations, which up to now has been mainly served via overland truck. This additional vessel will complement the current operation into Hull and shows MacAndrews ongoing commitment to attracting more cargo from road to sea.
The inaugural sailing of this third string is scheduled to leave Gdynia on 19th March to arrive Tilbury 22nd March.
Thereafter the third ship will provide a Saturday departure from the port of Gdynia for arrival in Tilbury on Tuesday. This complements our current sailings ex Hull which depart from Gdynia on Tuesday and Friday and arrive in Hull Friday and Monday respectively.
This unique enhancement is customer driven and will enable MacAndrews to offer market leading frequencies and lead times together with environmentally friendly transport options. Additional 40’ and 45’ HCPW equipment has been put in place to meet the expected demand.
We look forward to your support of this exciting new development and can assure you of our very best attention at all times.
