MacAndrews received the “Best Short Sea Shipping Company 2016” prize awarded by Transportes & Negócios, Portugal’s leading transport magazine, at a ceremony held on the 24th of November, attended by key players in the maritime industry. Industry professionals (forwarders, shipping companies, port authorities, customs personnel) voted for the winners.
The finalists this year were MacAndrews,OPDR, Cldn and K-Line. This award would mark the 6th time MacAndrews has won after snapping up the title in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2015.
The prize is a recognition of all the hard work done by the team to further develop the short sea services business between Portugal and other core European geographical areas. The event was attended by the MacAndrews Portugal team.
