The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport’s (CILT) Corporate Plaque Presentation Day is a unique networking opportunity for senior logistics and transport professional to get together under one roof and celebrate being a part of the CILT family.

On Friday 28th April, 118 r epresentatives from 72 companies that hold CILT Corporate Membership gathered at the Kettering Park Hotel to receive their commemorative plaque for 2016-17.

Delegates from leading logistics and transport companies, including; CEVA Logistics, DHL Supply Chain, DP World London Gateway, John Lewis, Kuehne + Nagel, MacAndrews, National Express, Optare, PD Ports, Primark, Toyota and XPO Logistics, all attended this year’s event to celebrate being a part of CILT’s network for the next 12 months.

The event welcomed members from across the profession, including those from the financial sector, leading universities and the biggest names in logistics and transport for CILT’s most well-received networking event of the year.

Will Whitehorn FCILT, President, CILT, was on hand to present members with their plaques, saying: “It’s a privilege to be able to present our Corporate Members with the recognition of being part of the CILT network.

The spread of Corporate Members in this room makes you realise why Britain is one of the leaders in the world economy – there really is so much skill. Without you, we cannot encourage membership of this organisation and the opportunities that lie within this great profession.”
