MacAndrews were delighted to be part of the 2018 Nestlé Supplier Awards for the 2nd successive year. The event was held in West London and more precisely, at the Twickenham Stadium on the 1st of February.
This is the 4th year of the ‘Nestlé Supplier Awards’. They were created to recognise and reward their best suppliers in all categories (recruitment, food suppliers, transport suppliers…) and they are very proud of the event.
Our category: The Most Sustainable Award
This category recognises those businesses delivering examples of how they have embraced sustainable thinking/practices in their operations and their upstream and downstream supply chains. Nestlé has been using MacAndrews multimodal transport services for over a decade now as part of their Intra-European Zeur lanes. With this model, Nestlé saved 63% of CO2 (3 million kilogrammes of CO2) than say if those lanes were transported using 100% road transport. Awards Evening
The Awards ceremony took place on 1st February 2018 at the Twickenham Stadium and was a great night of celebration. Kenneth Rohrbach, European Business Development Managers, attended on behalf of MacAndrews
The event started out with a welcome drinks reception followed by a dinner. There were two charity bidding auctions including match tickets, dinner etc. All proceeds were in support of MacMillian Cancer Support. More than £13,000 have been raised during the event.
The evening continued with the announcements of all the winners of the Supplier Awards 2018 followed by more entertainment.
Macmillan Cancer Support was Nestlé’s employee chosen charity this year, and MacAndrews is delighted to be able to support this amazing organisation too.
