MacAndrews/OPDR the Inter European arm of the global group CMA CGM launch a new partnership shuttle service between Bilbao and Rotterdam.

Multimodal short sea operators MacAndrews and OPDR have launched a new weekly shuttle service between Spain and The Netherlands.
– A service 100% dedicated in covering the North West continent only
– A new alternative to the overland truck transportation

This is the second joint service for the new MacAndrews/OPDR partnership in being dedicated 100 % in covering the North West continent only and offers quick transits both to and from Rotterdam competing with the traditional overland truck market. MacAndrews/OPDR partnership now offer customers a wide range of services from Spain including 7 calls weekly from Bilbao, calls from Cartagena, Cadiz, Seville and Huelva. The well-developed block train concept that MacAndrews is the leader in, offers connections throughout the whole of Spain.

The service will be run by the ‘Ice Crystal’ which has a capacity of 430 TEUs. The first sailing will be from Bilbao on Friday 27th November arriving Rotterdam Monday, 30th November, the terminals served in Rotterdam are DDW & RST. The service offers onward connections through Rotterdam to Hamburg, the Baltic, Scandinavia and Russia and further improve transit time for customers to and from this area.
